The Stinky Shoe Activity

To hone our powers of observation and description, we did the Stinky Shoe activity last week. Each student chose a shoe at home, made a thorough description of it, then brought it in to school. We piled up the shoes (which, as it turns out, were not so stinky after all) and each student read their description. As a group, we found that the observations that described color and patterns were the most helpful. It was a great activity!
